Student Voter Guide for the Fall 2020 Student Government Election

Updated: Nov 19, 2021

Embedded below is Torchlight's full Voter Guide for the Student Government Fall 2020 election. For anyone with questions, comments, or concerns about Torchlight and its content, we encourage you to reach out to us via our contact emails on our team page.

Torchlight’s Fall 2020 Student Government Election Voting Guide is split into four parts. The first part explains what is on the Fall 2020 ballot and how students can access it. The second part provides students with a brief description of the two campus political parties, Progress FSU and the Amplify Movement, that are running for office. The third part gives a very brief summary of both parties' platforms, and the final part reviews both party’s stances on recent events in Student Government. The creation of our voting guide was overseen by the Director of Legislative Affairs, Shayna Cohen, and could not have been produced without contributions from Legislative Analyst Parker Ridaught, Research Assistant Sheila Gomez, and Research Assistant Yolanda St. Fleur.
